Membership
Hunts Forum membership brings access to the following services:
- Information, advice and training on all aspects of running a voluntary or community group.
- Signposting to other sources of support or help as appropriate.
- Access to other members (community/voluntary groups)
- Regular newsletters.
- Access to our database of over 600 documents and publications.
- Access to photocopier and laminator.
- Reduced cost access to any training we run.
- Fundraising advice and information about sources of funding.
- Free use of Fundfinder and access to the Directory of Social Change's web site, Trustfunding.
- Discounted room hire.
In addition members have the chance to be part of the consultation and planning process for health and social care services in Huntingdonshire.
The cost of membership is £20 per annum for voluntary organisations.

Fundraising Fair
March 20th

An opportunity for local charitable and community groups to talk to potential funders about what they will fund, how much they’ll give and what criteria groups need to meet. Well known names invited so far include The Big Lottery (Awards for All & Reaching Communities), Living Sport, Young Lives, Cambridgeshire Community Foundation, Development Trust Association and Community Matters.

Information Communication Technology – ICT – has an increasingly important role to play in life, particularly in a work environment. This workshop seeks to explore new applications – known as SOCIAL MEDIA or NEW MEDIA - and show how they can be of benefit to third sector organisations looking at how they can help with raising awareness and campaigning, through to tools which can help us to work smarter not harder and greener in to the bargain!”

Heritage Lottery Funding & Are You Funding Ready?

Two sessions for the price of one – firstly Jonathan Latchford Development Officer for Heritage Lottery Fund will give information advice and examples of funds available (followed by 1:1 sessions). Then Julie and Pam will discuss what documentation groups need in advance of applying for funding.

This workshop will cover the role of supervision the basic skills a good supervisor needs, like how to motivate and develop people and how to delegate; we’ll discuss policies, systems and practices, including how best to conduct supervision meetings.

Ed Hickman Regional Officer for Big Lottery Fund will lead the workshop on the range of funding programmes (who can apply, how much can you get?) followed by identifying needs, setting project aim and identifying SMART outcomes.
