Parent Group Workshop
Pinpoint has a small bursary pot of up to £1000 which groups who can help us develop the participation of parents of disabled children can apply for and they will be sharing information on this on the day.
The mini-workshops are being run by their lead body, Young Lives, and the sessions will be run on participation, but we hope it will be an informal, interactive session that everyone can chip in to with a little time at the start and end to network.
"Parents value and trust the mutual support they receive from one another.
Support groups are a great way for parents to meet; to share information and feel less isolated. We have funding to provide our second parent group event FREE of charge. It is open to all those interested in providing support, or currently giving support, to parents through local groups.
