New Website for Headway Cambridgeshire

Brain injury charity, Headway Cambridgeshire has launched its new website and online support forum www.headway-cambs.org.uk.

It is hoped that the fresh new look and updated content will attract new interest in the work and services of the charity. Headway Cambridgeshire offers support, advice and guidance, as well as a rehabilitation day service, to all those who are living with the effects of brain injury throughout the county.

The Headway User Forum is the first in the country for Headway groups, and it is hoped that the online interaction with the trained staff at Headway and with other people affected by brain injury, will encourage a wider awareness of brain injury and offer help to those who need information and support.

AgeUK Cambridgeshire, working in partnership with the Dept of Health and other local partners are publicising the Warm Homes – Healthy people initiative.

If an older person is having problems with heating, energy bills or just not coping with severe Winter situations they can call the new Information line on 0300 666 9860 where Information officers will be able to talk them through their difficulties and offer solutions and support
