Local Compact

Hunts Forum and Hunts District Council with Compact Voice are establishing a Local Compact to support Local VCS groups in Huntingdonshire. This will not replace the Cambridgeshire Compact but will be a dosument that is owned by all interested stakeholders. New Training Sessions!

Hunts Forum have been successful in securing development fund money to run a series of free training sessions in Huntingdon and St Neots/Eynesbury. The 4 sessions in each area will support people who want to be invovled in their communities but feel they dont have the skills to be part of local change. Access to information, advice and guidance will be given throughout the duration of the training.

Development & Training Worker Vacancy

Development & Training Worker

30 hours per week

Salary £19,621 - £22, 958 pro rata

We are looking for a highly motivated person, preferably with experience of the voluntary sector, who will build the capacity of local and voluntary groups by providing information advice and facilitate training on management and funding issues.

This exciting and challenging post requires you to be professional, flexible and have good communication skills. You will need to work on your own initiative but also part of a team.

9.30 – 10.30 Outline of ‘Awards for All’ and ‘Reaching Communities’ programme

10.30 – 1.00 Providing evidence and describing outcomes and activities

 

This session will introduce participants to two popular Lottery funding streams and help them understand what needs to be included in a strong bid, particularly in relation to showing a need for a project and what will happen as a result of the project.

 

The first hour will outline the two funding streams. If you are already familiar with the details of these then you can choose to join the session at 10.30.
