The Huntingdonshire Strategic Partnership is one of five Local Strategic Partnerships which have been set up based on each district within Cambridgeshire. Its purpose is to get all agencies in Huntingdonshire working more effectively together, sharing knowledge and expertise.
The Partnership involves senior representatives from agencies including Cambridgeshire County Council, Huntingdonshire District Council, Huntingdonshire Primary Care Trust, Cambridgeshire Police, local businesses and voluntary sector organisations. These agencies provide important services to the public such as health care, community safety, transport, education, environmental protection, leisure, economic development and planning.
The Huntingdonshire
Strategic Partnership is responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring a Community Strategy which sets out the way in which all these agencies will work together to make a difference.
The Partnership is keen for voluntary groups to become more involved and contribute their experience, expertise and views to the planning process.
