Hunts Forum events

Keep-in-Touch Networking meetings are regular meetings for Hunts Forum members to provide an opportunity to get to know others working locally, to find new connections, seek support, and to raise issues and seek advice and guidance form others.

In 2021 we will be focusing on particular themes with each meeting. Our theme for January will be Mental Health. Our guest speaker will be Heather Knapp Business Development Manager with Cambridgeshire Consultancy in Counselling who will be talking about the work that the charity does across the county.

After the presentation there will be a Q&A session followed by an informal exchange of information from those present on any topic.

About Cambridgeshire Consultancy in Counselling (CCC)

CCC is a mental health charity providing affordable counselling and training services to organisations and individuals in the local community. CCC subsidises support for anyone over 16 who either can’t afford to pay market rates or who would have to wait several months for a GP referral, ensuring a lack of funds is no barrier to getting help promptly. They collaborate with a number of local charities to ensure the most vulnerable in our local community are able to access help.
Their work with local organisations to train and support their staff on a paid basis, not only reduces employee absence levels and promotes a company culture of wellbeing, but also funds CCC’s charitable counselling provision, so they are always looking for new organisational partners.
