Keep-in-Touch Networking meetings are regular meetings for Hunts Forum members to provide an opportunity to get to know others working locally, to find new connections, seek support, and to raise issues and seek advice and guidance form others.
In 2021 we will be focusing on particular themes with each meeting. Out theme for March will be Working with Volunteers
Our guest speaker will be Anna Bradley-Dorman, Communications and Grant Officer with Ramsey Neighbourhoods Trust (RNT) who will be talking about the work of RNT, the role volunteers play and what RNT has learned from working successfully with volunteers.
After the talk and Q&A Hunts Forum would like to find out from you what we can provide, organise and deliver to better support volunteer managers/coordinators, paid staff who work closely with volunteers and also volunteer-run groups in our member organisations.
We will end with an informal exchange of information from those present on any topic.
About Ramsey Neighbourhoods Trust
Ramsey Neighbourhoods Trust offers community led activities and services to everyone who lives, works or volunteers in Ramsey and its surrounding villages. It is managed by a group of local volunteer trustees who are committed to the creation of a strong, active and inclusive community.
RNT is passionate about volunteering and relies upon its band of resident volunteers who make everything they do possible. It uses local knowledge to get people actively involved in the decisions that affect them. This includes working closely with local government, schools, health professionals, businesses, statutory and voluntary sectors to provide a voice for people on local issues.
